A WOMAN is in a critical condition after a car collided with a tree in South Staffordshire. The crash took place on the A449 near Himley at around 5.45pm on Sunday. A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "There were four people in the car which crashed. It had rolled over and hit a tree. "Unfortunately, two women were lying outside the vehicle, having been ejected, when crews arrived. "The most seriously injured person was awoman, thought to be in her 20s, who had suffered multiple injuries. "She was anaesthetised and flown to the trauma unit at Selly Oak Hospital." The second woman was thought to have pelvic, head, neck and back injuries. Aman inside the vehicle suffered neck pain and athird woman from the car suffered minor injuries. |
